Sophie Grossmann

Sophie Grossmann studied organisational communication and completed an MA in cultural journalism at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). She worked for several years at VICE Media, among other things as a press officer, and then as an editor for the youth publication Young Swiss in Bern, where she wrote articles and coordinated photo reportages. After two internships in the costume department and as a dramaturge at the Zurich Opera House, Sophie Grossmann worked as an assistant dramaturge at the Münchner Kammerspiele with Benjamin von Blomberg and Nicolas Stemann. After various freelance project-management jobs in the field of branding and a project-related collaboration as a story hunter at EPIC Digital, Sophie Grossmann took over as editor-in-chief of 041 – Das Kulturmagazin when it was relaunched and was responsible for its redesign. Since 1 May 2019, Sophie Grossmann has been creative director and, together with Philine Erni, co-director of public relations at the Schauspielhaus Zurich.
